Busy Lady These Days!

I am going to be swamped till this weekend but I wanted to share two of my newest designs!
I am so excited about the vintage buttons I have been finding lately. All of these styles will be very limited, less then ten of each will be made. There are lots of other designs that I will be showing to the world for the first time at Unique LA this weekend.


If you live near Los Angeles you should definitely come out to the California Market Center in downtown LA. There will be so many great things there for you to get your hands on. Don't forget about those Mother's Day gifts you might be needing.

Saturday Shopping List

I almost forgot today to get this post up. I am busy making things for Unique LA next weekend. Hopefully I will be able to do a shop update after the show. I am really excited about some new designs. If I get a chance to take some pictures I'll give you a little peak. I've been playing around with my blog design so you will see some changes, but it's still me.

1. Nesting Heart Bowl Set from Red Hot Pottery. I'm not usually a heart person but I love this color and the nesting part of the design.
2. I Heart my Bike 8x10 Print from Michelle Maule. I know I have seen her work around on a few blogs but it stuck with me when I saw an interview with her on Perfect Laughter.
3. cozy/cuff from megan auman. She blogged about the new colors she has available and I am hoping to get my hands on a green or blue one soon.
4. Maru face ornaments from Mairuru. These ornaments are super cute and I found them from the blog So Cute it Hurts. Jqline features lots of cute things on her blog as you can probably tell by the name.

What are you doing to make your life a little greener? Do you have any helpful tips to share?

I recently heard about these reusable water bottles by Clear 2 Go that filter any tap water for you. I know this is something I could definitely use. I reuse the same plastic bottles over and over but I could always do better. Just think of how many plastic water bottles this could save, not to mention the money.

I'm working on a new line that is made with 100% recycled materials, hopefully I will be ready to show pictures soon. If you get a chance enjoy a bit of the outdoors today.

Happy Monday

This is how I spent the weekend. I realized I need to order more sheet, tubing, chains, and bezel wire this week. I have two shows in May so I am just trying to get my stock up.

I also finished these earrings. They are an updated version of my Beautiful Bee Earrings. I added some really pretty yellow sapphires and I like the change. What do you think?

Copenhagen City of Cyclists Music Video

I check out the blog Copenhagen Cycle Chic often and I saw this video today. The blogger Mikael made this video and I think it's great for us over here in the US to see all the ways people get around on their bicycles in other countries.

They aren't just riding their bikes down the street or in nice weather, they ride all year round. They cart kids, instruments, work gear, art work, groceries, and more on their two wheeled transportation. And on this blog many of the people pictured even do it in style.

I've been trying to find a bike that is suited for commuting and am so jealous of many of the bikes I see on this blog. I don't want anything fancy just something comfortable and suited for riding 20 miles a day.

From the Bench

I have a few shows coming up next month and new work going in to stores this month.
Here is a glimpse of what I am working on.
Lots of stacker rings, some bee earrings, bangles and more.
I moved a couch out on to my balcony this weekend and as you can see it is a nice place to relax.
I can't believe the sky is really that blue sometimes.
I also am barefoot in April and not freezing!
