Meet Stoney the Turtle

So I bought a turtle because I thought he was super cute. I had no idea what a turtle needed for a home but I got educated quite quickly at Medusa's and have been reading a bunch online. I still need to get him a UVA/UVB bulb but otherwise his home has come a long way since I bought him this morning.

I haven't had a pet since I was a kid and have been wanting one for a while now. I was thinking about a fish but I saw this turtle and he was so cute. I wish they stayed small but he will get larger and I will have to make him a new home.

I am reading about turtles as totem animals and am very intrigued. He has a new home in my living room and I hope he isn't too traumatized from his journey and we can be friends for a long time.

SouthPark Flea Market

This event takes place every week in downtown LA and Deirdre and I decided to try it out this weekend. I made some new displays out of wood crates and dishracks. I painted everything. I had a new banner printed and I made lots of new jewelry.

Check out my new banner for craft shows. I got this printed by a Downtown LA printer, Ace Copy. Fast, Affordable, and Beautiful! Thanks to Heather of Palleiko Designs for helping me out with my banner design. I attended the SouthPark Flea Market yesterday with Deirdre of Blackbird72.
I will be posting photos of my new booth design. We will be back downtown in two weeks for another beautiful day in the sun selling our fantastic wares!

I also have a bevy of new designs that will be up on Etsy this week! Some great new necklaces and rings that I am so in love with.
